NQF Level 6 – Diploma in Supply Chain/ Transport Management
At least 3 years of experience in Transport Operations
Deep knowledge of Road Transport Act
Knowledge of Fleet and HSEQ regulations
Experience working with BTO’s and Logistics Advantageous:
Exceptional computer skills especially SAP, Fuel Facs
Sound Performance Management skills/experience What you’ll be doing
Communicate, interpret and adhere to Engen’s Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) policies and Zero Tolerance (ZeTo) rules to ensure individual safety and that of others, safeguard business operations and Engen’s compliance to industrial requirements.
Communicate, interpret and champion the execution of Engen’s policies and provisions of the Codes of Conduct & Business Ethics (COBE), Protection of Personal Information (POPI) and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), and undertake appropriate mitigation and/or intervention programmes to safeguard business operations, high staff discipline and industrial harmony.
Track monthly cost centre spend
Generate monthly cost control report
Report on monthly variances
Manage the execution of the order delivery schedule
Ensure that there are no violations on transport operations
Ensure fleet/ driver optimization
Manage installation in absence of Terminal manager
Ensure that performance and service standards are met as per agreed SLA’s
Co-ordinate and control 3rd party operation
Ensure that gains and losses are managed within agreed objectives
Ensure that the product in transit and levels of stock do not to exceed agreed levels
Adhere to audit report and requirements
Manage fuel FACS
Co-ordinate adherence to customer and stakeholder policy and procedure
Provide support and guidance to customers and adhere to customer SLAs
Conduct audits on customer for compliance to governance and business procedures Exciting Challenges • Engagement with 3rd party contractors
Engagement with the rest of the Supply Chain
Leaving the Terminal to visit areas where incidents have taken place
